Ok, I know I've been a slack-ass bitch about writing in this POS, but its been with good reason...I'm a loser...there, now y'all that didn't already know it, do. I'm on spring break for a whopping two days, and I already want to leave. I hate having to deal with parents. Tonight, we celebrated my birthday (it was Feb. 28). You'd be amazed at how hard it is to coerce people to get you the FEW THINGS ON YOUR LIST!!! I got a $50 dollar gift certificate to Structure (always welcome...YAY!), $20 cash (blew it on TGIF...oops) some book about business, that looks at least half-way interesting (too bad I already have like 4 books in line before it) the Drops of Jupiter CD by Train (ewww), and Birkenstocks (YAY!...they're too big, and I'm torn between returning them for cash, and buying Civ3 or something, or just getting a different size...what do you think?) I'm already gonna return the CD, and I have about $10 left on my gift certificate for Best Buy from X-Mas, so I can at least fund half of Civ3.
My bro downloaded the full version of Escape from Monkey Island, a game which I've been wanting for a long time (yes its extremely childish, but its also one of the few games/series that are laugh out loud hilarious) I beat it very quickly, but it was a great time. The sound and cut scenes didn't work, so I was kinda lost a few times, but I managed to figure it out. I do believe, though that the series is pretty much done, because I don't know how much more they can add to it. Oh well. The games are awesome.
I also found a great game from a bizarre source: Sid Meier (Civ I, Civ II, and Alpha Centauri) has released a new game called SimGolf. As cheesy as it sounds, it is incredibly simple, yet completely addictive. I've definitely played the demo A LOT. I'd buy it, but that requires $40 bucks, and I'm not sure what you get from the game that you don't get from the demo, other than some things. The website, and box, aren't too helpful, either, with exact differences between the game and the demo, but they don't appear to be worth $40. Granted it maybe. Who knows. I think I'll wait for the cost to go down. (Which it will...hopefully)
Ok, that's all my thoughts for now, I believe that I'll go work on models, or something else that I've missed for a long time
